Wir arbeiten jeden Tag an der für uns alle bestmöglichen Zukunft. Dabei setzen wir auf Tradition, Gemeinschaft und Bauchgefühl. Mit uns leben auch Hund, Katze, Schaf, Ziege, Papagei und Bienen. Wir verstehen uns als Gesellschaftsgestalter*innen, die zugunsten intrinsischer und extrinsischer Zufriedenheit sowie Pionierleistungen zusammenwirken. Was wir machen … Hier am Standort in Frankfurt wirken wir in den Bereichen ökologische Landwirtschaft, Zimmerei, Gebäudetransformation, und Veranstaltungsplanung. Durch die Unterstützung einer ortsansässigen Zimmerei sind wir auf den Holzbau spezialisiert. Aktuell sind wir dabei, die Bestandsgebäude rundum für Veranstaltungsangebote auszubauen und zu verschönern. Darüber hinaus steht unser nächstes Projekt in den Startlöchern: Über unseren Dächern werden wir ein Kulturhochhaus errichten, das X experimentelle Räume für Künstlerateliers beherbergen wird. In unserer Freizeit zeichnen wir außerdem gerade ein „Haus der Zukunft“. Der Arbeitsplatz versteht sich als Kulturort, an dem Menschen aus aller Welt mit verschiedensten Hintergründen zusammenkommen, um gemeinsam Kunst zu schaffen. Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten … Es bieten sich verschiedene Optionen: Beispielsweise ein Schlafsaal mit Kochstelle in der 158 Meter langen historischen Seilerbahn. Daneben befinden sich Einzelzimmer mit jeweils neun bis zwölf Quadratmetern. Kochen und duschen kannst du auch bei uns auf der Arbeit in der Gemeinschaftsküche. Lass uns gerne vor deiner Anreise per Videokonferenz konkreteres besprechen. Alle Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten sind an Gärten angebunden. Du kannst dir also auch gerne ein Zelt mitbringen und hier aufstellen. Zudem stehen dir gelegentlich auch Sauna, Bibliothek und Yogaraum offen. Lage: Wir befinden uns in Frankfurts Stadtteil Sachsenhausen, in Richtung Oberrad, inmitten von Landschaftsschutzgebieten und Gartenanlagen – umgeben von Grün und Feldern. Und doch ist man in einem Katzensprung im Zentrum einer globalen City: Mit dem Fahrrad in 5 Minuten, mit der Bahn in 15 Minuten, und auch der Flughafen ist in 35 Minuten erreichbar. What We Do … Here at our site in Frankfurt, we are active in building transformation, carpentry, ecological agriculture, and event planning. Thanks to the support of a local carpentry business, we specialize in timber construction. At the moment, we are renovating and beautifying the existing buildings on-site to host various events. Our next major project is already in the pipeline: above our rooftops, we’ll be constructing a cultural high-rise that will house X experimental studios for artists. In our spare time, we’re also sketching out a “House of the Future.” Our workplace is intended as a cultural space, where people from all over the world and all walks of life come together to create art. Accommodation … There are several options available: For example, a dormitory with a cooking area inside the 158-meter-long historic ropewalk building. Next to it are individual rooms ranging from 9 to 12 square meters. You can also cook and shower at work in our communal kitchen. If you’d prefer, you’re welcome to bring your own tent and pitch it here. You’ll also occasionally have access to a sauna, library, and yoga room. Location: We’re located in Frankfurt’s Sachsenhausen district, heading toward Oberrad, surrounded by protected landscapes and garden plots. We’re immersed in greenery and fields, yet only a stone’s throw from the heart of a global city: Just 5 minutes by bike, 15 minutes by train, and 35 minutes to the airport. Had a great time at Netzwerk Seileri! I really felt welcomed to the community that has been built there, and had a lot of opportunities to learn new things like mushroom gathering, cooking, carpentry, the history of the city and the rope factory, and about different plants and vegetables being grown. It’s cool that the place is so close to downtown Frankfurt yet close to forests and farmland. The hosts are very gracious and flexible to how you would like to spend your time. I especially enjoyed the Friday Pizza Party that included many members of the surrounding community. Would recommend to anyone, this place has something for you to learn about.

Netzwerk Seilerei is one of the most special places I've had the honor and opportunity to experience. The community members are welcoming, generous, and loving. There is always something to do. Whether your interested in building, gardening, bees, permaculture, ceramics, husbandry, cooking, music, or pretty much anything else you can think of. The garden is teeming with life; full of medicinal and edible plant life. The space is large enough to have your own space and small enough to be able to feel apart of a community. If you have the opportunity to experience seilerei I can't recommend the experience enough. Enjoy 💚

My first time WWOOFing and it was fantastic. I felt welcome, was happy to contribute to their project in my small way, and the group dynamic there is absolutely fantastic. I will be returning every year, if my schedule allows.
