Aktuell bieten wir ab Mitte Mai Plätze für WWOOFer:innen zur Unterstützung in der Versorgung Weidetieren (Schwerpunkt Schafe und Ziegen)
WER WIR SIND
Wir sind ein familiär geführter Biohof in Brandenburg in der Nähe von Berlin und Potsdam und arbeiten an der Schnittstelle von Landwirtschaft, Schäferei, Landschaftspflege und Naturschutz. Unsere Arbeitsschwerpunkte liegen in und am Rand der Döberitzer Heide sowie im FFH-Gebiet Teufelsbruch Muhrgraben in Schönwalde.
Wir bewirtschaften artenreiches Grünland, Feuchtgebiete und Moorflächen und legen großen Wert auf eine naturschutzfachlich sorgfältige Bewirtschaftung. Dazu gehören unter anderem extensive Beweidung mit Schafen, schonende Mähtechniken und die Pflege ökologisch wertvoller Flächen.
Im Mittelpunkt unserer Arbeit steht nicht die klassische Erzeugung von Milch oder Fleisch, sondern der Erhalt und die Förderung von Biodiversität. Seit 2023 sind wir anerkannter Demonstrations- und Konsultationsbetrieb für Naturschutz in der Landwirtschaft im Land Brandenburg. Unsere Arbeit wird regelmäßig im Rahmen von Fachveranstaltungen, Exkursionen und öffentlichen Beiträgen vorgestellt.
WAS DICH BEI UNS ERWARTET
Als WWOOFer:in bekommst du einen realistischen Einblick in unseren Betriebsalltag. Je nach Saison und Bedarf gehören dazu:
- tägliche Routinekontrollen unserer Schafherden
- Unterstützung während der Lammzeit und bei der Lämmeraufzucht (je nach Saison)
- Zaunbau mit Mobilzaunnetzen
- Mithilfe bei der Pflege von Flächen und kleineren praktischen Aufgaben rund um Hof und Gelände
- je nach Jahreszeit Beetvorbereitung im Gemüsegarten
Wichtig sind uns Interesse an Tieren und Natur, Zuverlässigkeit, Lernbereitschaft und Freude an praktischer Arbeit draußen. Vorerfahrung ist hilfreich, aber keine Voraussetzung.

Liebe Lisa, lieber Sascha und natürlich auch an alle Mitarbeiter*innen,
vielen Dank für die wunderbare Zeit bei euch! Ich habe mich von meinem ersten Kennenlernbesuch wunderbar willkommen gefühlt, durfte Dinge tun und lernen, mit denen ich noch nicht in Kontakt gekommen bin, leckere Kaffeekrationen im "Café im Café" schlürfen, mich ausprobieren und in Momenten, in denen ich es brauchte auch zurückziehen. Die Erinnerung an meine Zeit bei euch füllt mich noch jetzt mit Freude und ich hoffe, es war nicht das letzte Mal, dass ich bei euch bin!

We had the best time at Biohof Betula! We stayed for 16 days in July and were involved with the sheep shearing event, daily maintenance of the welfare of the herds and gardening afternoons together with Lisa + Sacha (& sweet Noel) and their employees. The team behind the farm are lovely people. Lisa shared with us much knowledge from her vision to conserve the nature reserve to information about healing plants that they grow in their garden. We have dinners together every evening, some days in their front yard with the amazing sunset and the beautiful heathland in the foreground. Truly meaningful summer days hands-on working with the land and animals, together with a team of diverse ages. Our kids (10 & 13) equally had a great time and we look forward to returning next summer. Thank you Lisa + Sacha!

Lisa und ihre Familie hat mich sehr herzlich in ihrem kleinen Familienkreis aufgenommen. Während meines Aufenthaltes habe ich viel gelernt und dufte neue Erfahrungen während der Lammzeit sammeln. Insgesamt hatte ich eine tolle Zeit bei Lisa und werde sie und ihre Schafe vermissen.

This has been my first experience ever as a wwoofer, and I couldn't ask for anything better, I feel extremely lucky for having had the chance to spend time with Lisa, Sasha, Noel, Kuchi and Pedro. They - as people - just added so much to my life experience and even just meeting them has been a beautiful bless for me in a moment where I missed so much the nature and felt overwhelmed by the city life.
I can't wait to be back and have the chance to experience for a longer period their lifestyle and learn more about this paradise they managed to create. The love and care they put in everything they do has been for me immensely inspiring, the work is nothing compared to the knowledge you get back, the opportunity to experience this mesmerizing environment. My main task was feeding the lambs (I already miss them so much!) and helping out with some other tasks around the fields. I loved grazing with the sheeps and goats and had the chance to learn so much in such a short period of time! Everything there has been designed and built by Lisa and Sasha, there's so much to learn about self-production and even just sharing the meals with them was so lovely, I'd recommend this entire experience even just to get to know them. It's rare to cross path with such wonderful people! They made me wish to quit my job and move to the country side. I'm beyond grateful and looking forward to our next encounter!
