Hof in Alleinlage in der nordfriesischen Marsch, 1 km zum nächsten Nachbarn, 10 km von der Nordseeküste entfernt.
BESCHREIBUNG:
Wir (Michael & Frauke Simon) haben eine Bioland-Gärtnerei, die Kräuter und Duftpflanzen in über 600 Arten und Sorten selbst vermehrt. Im Frühjahr bieten wir darüber hinaus noch Gemüse-Jungpflanzen (Tomaten in ca. 100 Sorten, aber auch Paprika, Chili, Aubergine, Zucchini und Gurke in vielen Sorten). Wir vermarkten unsere Pflanzen direkt ab Hof, auf Pflanzenmärkten und auf dem Versandweg. Außerdem bieten wir eine breites Sortiment an Bio-Saatgut, welches wir teilweise selbst produzieren. Weiter unterhalten wir einen Mutterpflanzen-Kräutergarten den wir für die Pflanzenvermehrung nutzen. Privat halten wir noch eine kleine Schar Hühner, einige Laufenten und Gänse. Außerdem haben wir einen Gemüsegarten, den wir teilweise auch für die Gemüse-Saatguternte nutzen.

LOCATION: Farmyard in solitary position in the North Frisian marsh, 1 km to the nearest neighbour, 10 km from the North Sea coast.
DESCRIPTION: We (Michael & Frauke Simon) have an organic nursery, which produces herbs and aromatic plants in more than 600 species and varieties. In the spring, we furthermore offer vegetable seedlings (tomatoes in about 100 varieties, but also peppers, chili, eggplant, zucchini and cucumber in many varieties). We sell our plants directly from the farm, on markets and by mail order. We also offer a wide range of organic seeds, which we produce partially self. Next we have a garden with motherplants, which we use as parental stocks for plant propagation.
Private we still keep a small flock of chickens, some Indian Runner ducks and geese. Further we have a vegetable garden, which we also use for the production of vegetable seeds.
Organic methods: Wir produzieren Kräuter-, Duft- und Gemüse-Jungpflanzen zum Verkauf an Endkunden.
In unserem Hofladen bieten wir darüber hinaus ein breites Spektrum an biologisch erzeugtem Saatgut, z. T. aus eigener Produktion an.
Außerdem diverse Bio-Tees (u. A. selbst gemischte Kräuter-Tees), Bio-Feinkost aus der Toskana, Bio-Wein, Bio-Kaffee...
