I stayed with Dunja and till for a little bit more than 2 months starting from the 10th of June. I cannot really describe how much I enjoyed my stay there and how much I learned , the farm itself is very nice and beautiful, with a lot to do and enjoy in your free time , I enjoyed a lot my walks in the surrounding woods and fields many times. The work in the farm was varied , since my stay there was for more than 1 month , I was able to participate in a lot of things , such as : taking care of the goats ( preparing the stables , milking, feeding , taking them out to the field and back to the stable at the end of the day) or taking care of the small organic garden that Dunja and till have for their owen consumption ( a lot of simple yet very tasty dishes were made from the products of this garden by Till and Dunja) , cheese making , and bee keeping and my favourite activity, driving the tractores to fill the water tankes for the horses and goats , cut the grass for feeding....etc. To not make my review very long and boring , in resumen, it was my first wwoofing experience and I couldn't have asked for a better place to do it , great and caring individuals, learned a lot from their vast experience ,Dunja cheese and till honey are the best that I have ever tried ( the only bad thing is that I think they ruined store bought cheese and honey for me ), and hopefully helped them as much as I could . Dunja and Till, many thanks for this great and lovely experince .

I had a great time with Till, Dunja and their goats! They‘re kind, funny and lovely people and if you stay here, you‘ll definitely have a great time. I learned everything from milking the goats to cheese making. I had enough free time to check out the area, collect fruits, pet the animals and swim! My everyday work was so fulfilling and I couldn’t imagine a better stay for my first Wwoofing experience!

I stayed at the Ziegenalarm for the entirety of April 2023. Dunja and Till openend their home and their hearts to me and it was an amazing experience to join their small goat cheese farm. They showed and taught me so much about living with animals and being creative with what is available. Dunja's passion for her goats and cheese making is incredibly inspiring. Till's knowledge and experience with ecological land management and his bee colonies is equally amazing to learn about. Dunja and Till allow you to work at your own speed and give you as many (or as little) risponsibilities as you want, which made me feel like a valuable member of the farm. They also get a lot of visits from friends, family, and neighbours which provides a wonderful opportunity to get to know some local people.
