Certifications: EU Bio Type of work: Melken, Koppeln bauen, Feldarbeiten wie Säen, Jäten Ernten und Verarbeiten von Obst, Gemüse und Kräutern, Heuernte, Holz, Brot backen, Kochen, Bauen milking, build paddocks, field work such as sowing, weeding, harvesting and processing vegetables, fruits and herbs, hay making, wood, baking bread, cooking, building  Internet access available

Alterntiv Abhohlung in Berga. The best way to get to our farm is by train to Berga/Elster. From there a hiking trail leads you to the farm. We can also meet

Hallo, I spent a wonderful summer at Katharina’s family farm. The family is incredibly welcoming, and I immediately felt at home. The farm is located in a beautiful place, a stream runs nearby, giving the whole area a magical atmosphere, and the surrounding forest is easily accessible. The small accommodation was perfect, a large bed, a cozy living space, and even a piano. Although the farm feels remote, the train station is only about 15 minutes away, which makes everything very convenient. All the dinners were homemade by Katharina’s sister, and honestly, it was some of the best food I have ever eaten. Combined with Katharina’s tea and the homemade cheese, simply amazing. The work was flexible and very manageable. Milking 30 sheep isn’t easy at first, but you quickly realize that practice really does make better. The vegetable garden is abundant, and the blooming flowers make the whole place feel beautiful. The family is truly kind and open-hearted. This experience was everything I hoped for. As my first WWOOF stay, these three months on the farm genuinely helped me grow and feel better.
