BESCHREIBUNG:
Kommune, 10 Erwachsene, 7 Kinder, FÖJler Das Objekt liegt auf dem Gelände eines ehemaligen Klosterhofes und ist zuletzt als Ferienheim genutzt worden. 2002 hat der Verein das Objekt erworben. Im Haupthaus sind Privatzimmer und gemeinschaftlich genutzte Wohnbereiche entstanden. Es gibt am Platz eine extern vermietete Tischlerei, eine Schlosserei, eine Backstube und ein Seminarhaus. Wir betreiben ökologischen Gartenbau(eher als Hobby) für die Selbstversorgung. Seminare zu den Themen Natur, Artenschutz, Gesundheit, Nachhaltigkeit finden hier statt. Weiterhin organisieren wir Projekttage für Schulklassen und Feriencamps. Wir freuen uns über alle, die Lust haben, mit uns hier eine Weile zu leben! Entscheidung werden im Konsens Montag Abend beim Plenum getroffen!

DESCRIPTION: We are a community of 10 adults, 7 children and one volunteer person (FÖJ) with agriculture as one main pillar. We produce for ourselves vegetables, have a bake-shop, keep bees and make cheese in summer. Workshops on nature, protection of species, experience education.

Der Hof ist mit Bahn und Bus zu erreichen, Bahnhof Kahla, von dort mit dem Bus nach Drößnitz (bis Abzweig Wittersroda), gerne auch Abholung vom Bhf.

I spent an excellent month in this community. Everyone is very open-minded, attentive and patient.
The tasks are very varied : they can range from making bread/apple juice/yogurt to gardening while taking care of different animals.
There is also something to do during free time : visit the surrounding towns/villages, walk in the woods and surrounding paths, go ziplining...

Pfarrkesslar is a nice and beautiful place.
Each day, you take care of chickens, goats and a donkey name Morena.
Then, there are many different tasks to do like garnening, conserving vegetables, making compote, helping for works in the house, storig wood for the winter, cooking…
All the people in the community are really nice, even if you don't speak a word of german ! They are patient and friendly.
I spend an amazing month in this place!
