I can wholeheartedly recommend wwoofing at Harders Hof. Kathrin and Florian are about as sweet as people get, and have a vast knowledge of agriculture and nature that even after having had so many wwoofers over they years, they still are very eager to share, and that makes a stay with them immensly valuable for everyone who cares to gather lots of knowledge and broaden their horizon. They didnt overwork me, took my needs into account, were very communicative and a blast to be around. Though food-safety-wise we come from opposite sides of the spectrum and I had to loosen up quite a lot, my room and the facilities were of good hygenic standards though and comfortable as well. Everyone else at the house was also kind and enjoyable to be around. Also, sweetest dog ever! <3 You can see quickly, that they take their wwoofing-mission very seriously and love to spread knowledge and appreciate getting to know new people even after all these years of hosting wwoofers. For my first time wwoofing I hardly could have been more fortunate with my stay. Thank you Kathrin and Florian! <3

Eine gute Woche war ich bei Daniel, Cecilia und ihren Familien. Auf dem Programm stand zwei Mal am Tag Stallzeit. Das war immer schön, weil viele kleine süße Zicklein herumliefen und teils auch sehr anhänglich waren. Auch zwei Ziegengeburten habe ich live miterlebt. Außerdem habe ich einen kleinen Einblick in die Milchverarbeitung bekommen (wir haben Frischkäse und Joghurt gemacht). Mit den Kindern habe ich auch gerne etwas gemacht. Da ich mit dem Auto angereist bin konnte ich einmal auch eine Kajaktour im Spreewald machen.

Staying with Daniel and Sabrina was my very first WWOOF experience and I wish I’d stayed for longer. I felt so at home there, it was such a warm and relaxed atmosphere which was very easy to settle in to. Daniel talked passionately about the process of wine making which was very fascinating and I learned a lot from him, it is very clear he loves what he does. Sabrina is also a very warm, welcoming host who clearly loves her horses very much. The horses were very nice and friendly and it was so interesting to see them worked in such a traditional way, we don’t see that very much in England anymore and their animals were all very well loved and looked after. The food was so delicious, and I felt safe eating with Daniel and Sabrina despite being Coeliac, they were very accommodating and worked hard to keep me safe when preparing and serving food, which made me feel so relaxed. The house is also so close to the train station, and we had so much free time, it was easy to visit neighbouring towns and villages in our afternoons off or on the weekends. Overall I had a brilliant experience and hope I’ll be able to come back again soon, I’d 100% recommend staying here.

Mein Aufenthalt bei Claudia und Markus war rundum wunderschön! Mir wurde am Anfang gezeigt, was meine Aufgaben bei den Schafen sein werden, die ich dann sehr selbstständig erledigen konnte. Wie schon von den beiden beschrieben, war man nicht den ganzen Tag eingespannt und hatte sehr viel Zeit für sich. Diese hab ich In den sehr schönen Umliegenden Gebieten zum spazieren gehen genutzt. Ich hab mit den beiden im Haus gelebt, wir haben Abends häufig gemeinsam gegessen und lange gequatscht. Das Zusammenleben hatte etwas sehr familiäres. Claudia und Markus sind super herzliche Menschen, von denen ich viel lernen konnte, ich kann nur empfehlen sie zu besuchen!
