Wir befinden uns in Nordwestmecklenburg zwischen Lübeck und Schwerin (jeweils ca.40km). Die Ostsee ist auch etwa 40km entfernt. Das Biosphärenreservat Schaalsee ist direkt nebenan. Die Landschaft ist hügelig, unser Land liegt zwischen großen Feldern der Agrargenossenschaft, aber der Wald ist auch nah und sehr schön.
Wir sind eine Gemeinschaft und Genossenschaft von rund 20 Erwachsenen und 7 Kindern. Wir bewohnen ein Gutshaus und Bauwagen, Häuser, Jurten, Hängematten und Hütten auf dem Gelände. Wir besitzen etwa 10 ha Land, davon 1ha Wald und knapp 1ha Ackerland. Darauf werden Gemüse, Kräuter und Kartoffeln angebaut. Fast alle Arbeiten werden von Hand oder mit dem Pferd erledigt. Eine kleine SoLaWi und die Küche des Waldkindergartens nehmen das Gemüse ab. Es gibt jede Menge Obstbäume und -sträucher. Der Rest der Fläche ist Grünland, es wird beweidet und eigenes Heu gemacht. Im Winter werben wir Brennholz und pflegen das Gelände. WWOOFer sind bei meiner Familie (drei Kinder, 12,15 und 17 Jahre alt) angeschlossen und arbeiten auch meistens mit mir. Auch der Rest des Dorfes ist sehr kinderfreundlich, es gibt noch vier weitere Jungs zwischen 5 und 12Jahren. Mittwochs arbeitet und isst die Gemeinschaft zusammen. Es ist einfach und ein bißchen wild hier. WWOOfer bewohnen eine eigene kleine Holzhütte oder einen Bauwagen ohne fließend Wasser, aber mit Strom. Komposttoiletten sind draußen und das Bad im Gemeinschaftshaus.
Wir bieten Stellen für das FÖJ (Freiwilliges Ökologisches Jahr) in der Gemeinschaft und im Waldkindergarten an.

Each one takes cares of his income. Usually you eat, live and work with my family, on wednesdays with the whole community. The living standard is low, we have compost toilet outside and you will live in a small wooden hut ore wagon without water but with electricity.
